To search a variety of information sources all at once, including your local library catalog (if set up by the librarian), click the One Search icon. The returned screen shows those local, Internet, and subscription sources, such as online encyclopedias and news sites available to you.
To start searching, enter a search term and check those sources you want to search.
When you're ready, click the One Search button.
Note: Pre-set Limiters do not apply to One Search searches. If the hitlist that returns is too broad, try using a Boolean search employing all three search text boxes.
Example: "United States history" and "19th Century" but not "Civil War" for US history during the 19th century that doesn't include Civil War topics.
